Legacy, a Regional Community Foundation supports and assists all manner of activities and organizations across the communities served. The Foundation’s grants and collaborations are far too numerous to list here. Please call or stop by the office for personal service!

Take a look at some of our favorite programs

Kids Impact Cowley County (KICC) is a group of local high school age students who have come together to learn about the needs and assets of the region. They work together all year to discover ways they might impact the lives of other kids through philanthropy. Each year they make grants to projects that benefit kids. KICC teaches leadership, philanthropy and teamwork. At the same time it lets kids make a difference for other kids. And they have fun!

What is Tiny Teeth?

Legacy Foundation and United Methodist Health Ministries Fund teamed up to develop and implement Tiny Teeth education in our region. As a result of the Tiny Teeth Program, dentists are seeing far fewer extreme cases of tooth decay in small children. The estimated savings to our county is about $85,000 per year! Not to mention the pain and suffering that has been saved.

Tiny Teeth is a comprehensive, sustainable, collaborative community approach to parent education.

Comprehensive: . Tiny Teeth materials are designed to be accurate and easy to use. Materials provide information for parents of newborns, cleaning and nutritional suggestions, and information coordinated by developmental stages.

Sustainable: Tiny Teeth materials are designed to integrate into existing programs. Once the materials are purchased, training takes place and the program is implemented, cost for sustaining the program is minimal.

Collaborative: Involving multiple agencies means parents hear a consistent message about oral care for their families from every agency they interact with.
