Young Philanthropist Scholarship

The Young Philanthropist Scholarship is offered to college sophomores, juniors or seniors by Cowley County Power of the Purse (POP), an organization of women who donate annually into a fund to benefit the Cowley community. This scholarship of up to $1,000 is intended to encourage young adults to actively include philanthropy as a valuable part of life. Candidates will be evaluated on their participation in philanthropic activities, as demonstrated through their essay response, resume and letters of reference. Successful candidates must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater.
