A new playground project is coming to our South Haven community. The success of this project will be made possible through donations and fundraising with the support of our community members businesses.

Community playgrounds offer fun, creative exploration for children and their families; a place to grow their imagination while providing a safe and healthy place for physical activity.

South Haven has a growing number of young families living in our community and a present need for a safe playground space. The South Haven Community’s first playground was established over 30+ years ago and has been loved and enjoyed for generations. As time moves on, the equipment has begun to show its age as you'll see in the pictures below.

We invite you to drive by the current city park located to the west of the South Haven City Building, on the corner of Wichita and Camp Streets and imagine what a new playground space could mean to our community! This project strives to provide a positive facelift to one of our quality of life spaces, attracting families and friends to the newly constructed Cardinal Corner Playground.

The target fundraising goal for the Cardinal Corner Playground Project is $200,000. This will cover removal of the old equipment, preparation of a new playground space surfaces and borders, and installation of new inclusive playground equipment designed to engage children of all ages.

Be a part of building a community landmark where families and friends gather safely while having fun and making lasting memories.
