Kids Impact Cowley County (KICC)

Kids Impact Cowley County (KICC) is a youth philanthropy program that teaches leadership, philanthropy and teamwork. Groups of students from four Cowley County high schools come together to learn about the needs and assets of the region. They work together all year to discover ways they might impact the lives of other through philanthropy. As a part of the program, each year each group writes a Request for Proposals and awards a grant to a worthy cause in its high school.

The program is funded through an endowment held with Legacy Regional Community Foundation and is administered through Leadership Southwestern. The 2017-2018 leaders are Raquel Resendiz and Madison Adams of Southwestern College under the supervision of Brae Wood and Dr. Cheryl Rude, Director of Leadership Southwestern.
